Living conditions

Your spirit is your home. It chooses a body to inhabit, a place to house the essence of self. Look at your outward expression – of the clutter you choose to see, feel and breathe daily. Feel how it hampers the spirit. Look instead to express the very nature of who you are – choose colours that inspire and delight you. Simplicity is the key simplify and cleanse, re-furbish your soul as you bring forth your eternal self – and manifest it’s fruitful expression.
A home is within – in knowing this, you’ll understand that wherever you are you will make your home. To value your space is to value your heart – it is indeed the art of self- nourishment. So be not afraid of change – your life’s path is mapped and you forever journeying home!

Nice thoughts. I've always believed our environment (which is mostly of our choice) has a great effect on us. I used to work with an older man who lived alone, grew all of his own food, and slept on the floor. His simply living was truly inspiring. It’s kind of like when one of our senses is impaired the others become more acute. I think when we live, to a degree, in a form of self denial we allow our selves to see more in what is left. Just a thought, anyways.

Hi Joshua,
Just found your lovely response.
'I think when we live, to a degree, in a form of self denial we allow our selves to see more in what is left.' I love the way you have described this. i know that I get most of my bliss from simple pleasures!
